General

By means of a connection, data is automatically exchanged between two systems. This data concerns employers, departments, employees, employment contracts, and absenteeism. Dossier Manager (DM) offers the possibility to create a direct connection with a number of specific systems. For other systems, the SIVI Absence Standard is used.

Specific systems as The Absence Standard is supported by various suppliers of personnel information systems. Below is an overview of packages with which we can realize a correct exchange of data. Packages not mentioned here may still work fine.

Other systems

For systems and packages not listed above, we offer the possibility to exchange data via an sFTP upload. The supplied files must be prepared using the SIVI Absence Standard.

Realizing connection

To establish a connection with an external platform, a number of matters must be arranged and set on both sides. Which matters depend on the external platform. On our side, we will have to create an import definition for your data.

Conversion of existing data

If you are already a customer of Arbo Concern and Dossier Manager already contains data from your company, this data will have to be converted. This conversion is necessary to prevent duplicate data in Dossier Manager. The data exchange takes place based on unique keys for each employer, department, employee, employment contract, and absenteeism. Before the connection can be activated, the unique keys must be linked to the correct data.

In addition, adjustments to organizational structures may have to be made, and the connectivity of employment and absence information may have to be adjusted. Conversion work is scheduled in advance.

Connection maintenance

Although a connection does its work fully automatically in principle, a connection does require regular attention. A report is generated with each import, containing the irregularities found during the import. These may be problems with overlapping absence periods, for example. We check these irregularities and correct them manually if necessary. We charge costs for this.

Costs

For the complete setup of a connection, you should take into account the costs for the following activities. The amount of costs varies per system and per situation. If desired, we can send you a quote.

  • Generate, test and implement import definition DM (one-off)
  • Conversion of existing data (once only, if necessary)
  • Maintenance costs* (per employee per month)
  • Repair work** (per hour)

*The maintenance costs are billed monthly.

** For unilateral changes and/or updates to the connections on the client's side, which result in (repair) work for Arbo Concern, an hourly rate of € 105,- (excl. VAT) is charged. Any (repair) work for MediSoft will be passed on to the client.
